![]() About the Pronghorn Antelope
The pronghorn is the fastest land mammal in North America running at speeds exceeding 50 mph. Pronghorns are about
three feet tall at the shoulders. They are reddish brown, but feature white stomachs and wide, white stripes on their throats.
Of the five Pronghorn Antelope sub-species, three are listed as endangered and are protected.

The Sonoran pronghorn is an endangered subspecies of pronghorn found in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and Sonora.
There are believed to be around 100 animals currently existing in the world.
