![]() About the Dyeing Dart Frog
The Dyeing poison dart frog is the largest species of poison dart frog and is native to the eastern portion
of the Guiana Shield, including parts of Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, and nearly all of French Guiana. The bright, aposematic
warning colors displayed by these frogs are indicative of the presence of various toxins present in the frog's skin.
